Caliper rebuilding

One of my front brakes is sticking so I took the caliper apart. They're pretty simple and was glad to see no special tools are required. There are two questions I have though. I'm replacing the front hoses ($18 at Autozone) and the top fitting at the brake line was really hard to remove, nearly rounded the little flange nut getting it off. Is there a reason for why this particular nut is so frozen, can it be prevented using some antisieze when I reinstall it? Second, the caliper kit came with two packets of grease, one orange color and the other red. Are two kinds of grease needed to reinstall the calipers, and which goes where? I thought I could put a little on the stoppers to help the centering and the other kind inbetween the caliper and the pad. Can anybody confirm this?

One packet may be an anti-squeal compound to be used on the back of the pads. If so it may not lube worth a darn. No instructions with the kit?

Was a Mazda kit, part 0296 49-240, no instructions. I just guessed and hope it works! Since the stoppers (wedges) are the bearing points for the caliper I figured it needs to slide some to center itself. So wire brushed them and the caliper mating surfaces bright, and put in a little of the orange goo. So far so good. Anybody else use brake grease installing the calipers?

i put brake caliper grease

on the wedges and their mating surfaces on the caliper and bracket as well as where the pad contacts caliper.
