Any experience with Caltracs traction bars?
http://www.calvertracing.com/info/info.htm
Looks like a neat idea but I wonder how it handles through a corner. Since it's designed for drag racing.
I was thinking of doing something like that for repu but instead of using roller and pivoting front bracket, make the front bracket solid and welded to frame. Non pivoting. A true trailing arm and traction bar that does not allow the rear axel to torque twist at all. Instead of twist then push the leaf back down like Caltrac.
I have a Datsun 1200 road racing competetion manual from '75 and they fabbed what I just described with the fixed front bracket.
