Interior pics
Just got the REPU back from my upholstry guy a couple days ago and figured I'd put some pics up. Here they are.
Headliner/visors redone
Door panels. Originals were cut up so I had these made new.
Had the seat cutout a bit more for shifter clearance and had some actual padding put in. Big difference.
Don't recall if I put up a pic of the NOS dash pad that came with the truck.
I am now in the process of adding an aftermarket A/C system to the truck. Found the condenser and compressor bracket on a RX4 in the junkyard and bought a new compact evaporator and compressor from Southern Rods for a very good price. Going to have some hoses made up and see how she works.

Interior Work
That is nice looking work, and I second repuzentn's "Who did it?" All of us could ship parts to them and some of us could drive there.

Tony @ Custom Auto Upholstery in San Jose, Ca. (408) 448-4056 I have been using Tony for about 6 years and have always been happy with the work. The work I had him do on the REPU cost $775 and included,
Front carpet *note* I bought an ACC carpet kit for a courier and was not happy with the fit. I put the edead and padding down myself
Kick panels- all new
Headliner and visors with roof insulation
Modify seat cutout and install real padding. Seat material was NOT changed. PO had seat recovered and was in good shape.
New door panels

Hey thanks for the info. Yeah, he really did an awesome job. Too bad that this upholstery shop is in No. Cal. because I'm at the other end in So. Cal. otherwise, I'd have my REPU there right now. Btw, are you going to SevenStock or the Japanese Classic Car Show?

I'll be at JCCS. Don't know if the REPU will go. As of right now, I'm planning on bringing my 66' Datsun Roadster with a turbo U20 and also my 75' Dodge Colt with a 4G64 swap. I have a third car spot registered but need to figure logistics to bring a third (REPU).

That's quite a collection you got there. Hopefully if all goes well, you'll be able to bring the REPU, the more, the merrier.
I'll be bringing my all original orange RX-2 coupe again and another REPU that I'm about to acquire real soon.
See you there 8-)
