'79-'80 tranny and '74 4.60 diff on my truck. The rims currently on it are stock B2000 chromes with 195 75 R14 front and some sort of 27 inchers in the rear. They're pretty much slicks now (tee hee), so when I get new tires, I'll jest get some 60 series on the 15 inch alloy rims.
My speedo with the 27 inch LT tires is about 5mph low. My speedo needle bounes below 30-35 though, so I'm ok doing 5 over the speed limit, usually. I think the diameter of 205 60 R15s is pretty close to what's on my B2000 rims, so I don't anticipate having to relearn my speedo with new tires. My sloppy steering will be a little harder to drive with wider front tires though.
