1974 REPU
Okay so here is the deal. I need to help a family member out so I'm going to sell my REPU and my RX-4. I hate to sell either of them, but family first!!!
First is my REPU. This truck is very nice. Factory A/C, 4 speed and of course 13B 4 port. The truck runs, but needs some work. The motor was suppose to have been rebuilt a few years ago, but I can't confirm that. It has been sitting for a while, but fired right up once I changed the ignition over to electronic. The body is very straigth and the truck is 100 percent complete. Has a new battery, and a couple new tail light lenses. See the pic's and you should understand how nice this one is. Will come with Racing Beat 4 barrel intake and Chrome set of 17 inch Esclade wheels. 2 have brand new tires on them.

How is the undercarriage of the RX-4? I assume it was once white by looking at the pics,is that the case? It looks like the interior is basically original,but just a little ripped up,and worn,is that a safe assumption? Where are these located? I see CA plates,but that doesn't always mean the cars are still in CA. I am interested in maybe getting out of the REPU,and into a car that i can haul the family in. How far in your opinion is it from making the RX-4 a runner? Aside from body work,and interior what needs the most amount of attention?

The undercarriage of the RX-4 is very clean and dry. This car has been in So-Cal it's entire life. It's been in a garage since 1991 and hasn't got any of the rust assocaiated with old cars. It's a very dry car.
The interior is worn as usual and the driver seat doesnt' match the passenger seat. Both look like RX-4's but one is vinyl and one is cloth. Odd, but whatever. it is what it is.
As far as making it a runner? I'm really not sure. The motor in it is complete and supposedly drove into the garage under it's own power. Guy got a new car and parked it ever since. The brakes were locked up when I got it but have since been freed and work. The steering felt good when I was moving it around to get it on the trailer. Other then that i haven't messed with it. I was going to get to this once I finished my RX-3. But I really need to help my family member out a jamb they got themself into....
So that's the deal. It's a very clean car though. Otherwise I would have left it where I found it.
