Is the truck still available? If so, what part of Ontario? Send pics to: kansei@pathwaynet.com

B-1600

The 72 B1600 was a terrific running little truck, only reason I got rid of mine, I traded it for my 74 REPU, only thing I didn't like about it was the throttle positioner. The little 4 cyl motors did like to chuck number 2 rod out the left side of the block, right about where the mount was.

If you do mart it out and you're feeling industrious I might be interested in the dash assembly.

The whole thing not just the dash pad, but instrument cluster glovebox, etc.

I like the all-steel dashes in the earlier trucks so if you wind up tearing her apart I'd be interested in swapping that dash into my truck.

Have You...

...tried advertising it elsewhere? How about Ebaymotors? Craigslist? Your local paper(s)? Looks like you had *some* interest here, a while back... (Too bad you're located so far away!)

Please, feel free to post your 'Come and get it'/For Sale, along with pic's, at the MSN-group, as well!

Hope it gets a good home--.

Was Interested originally "back when"...

...but had to pass due to asking price and amount of money needed to bring her back. I have the same problem here... too many cars/trucks with triple into them what they're worth. My other problem, and I suspect several others' is getting it across the border. If you have never done it, let me tell you (speaking from experience) it is a royal pain in the neck. Took me all day and mounds of paperwork and approvals to do it the last time- and I had gotten it "preapproved" ahead of time- was supposed to just drag the car over the border. I don't think I will ever do it again. Cost around 20% of the car's purchase price in duties and taxes. For a complete running nice car or truck it can be worth the hassle, but for another project that costs several hundred in the first place, it's just too daunting... then there's the drive, the gas, the hotel(s), food, etc... wish I could help, though. Hate to see her get destroyed.

Neal.
