500 bucks is to much............
I think it is sold and if it isnt then its going on ebay. from now on I am just going to list my parts on ebay, and Ill post the auction # here so there is no anamosity or hurt/hard feelings. I have found E-bay to be a fun and semi secure way to buy/sell parts, and I hope you all understand I dont want anyone mad at me or someone else. being a rotary nut is fun for me and the only compition I like is on the racetrack.
Thanks Dana
P.S. I just wanted a used intake?

To bad eBay wants a % of what the item gose for.
I don't think eBay was like that when they frist came out.
I sold a 32/36 weber for 74 dollars on there last year, and thay wanted 20 dollars out of that on top of the 3 dollars it cost me to put it on there.

I"ve got no animosity for you. Sorry if it came out that way. Mostly I was just shocked at anyone paying $500 for it (I've got less than that into the whol truck right now). I think its great if someone wants that original look, I just can't do that myself.

Craig does stuff on Ebay all the time with great results. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

No animosity; just lookin' to help!

Frankly, I'm shocked at what some folks are prepared to spend for things--not to mention what some would charge. Nevertheless, I am always interested in hearing about what's out there, even if it's not for me... Our REPU's and parts appreciating is a good thing, but I'm still more interested in seeing more get restored, or kept on the road, than parted out...
Lasse, I appreciate your dedication and the position you're in making parts difficult and expensive. I'm broke, and need money, but if you need and I can provide, I'm not going to ask some extremely high price beyond what's reasonable here, plus shipping.
Dana, good for you if you can get a premium price on an exceptional condition rare part! I appreciate your posting about it here, as I'm sure a lot of us do. Please, do keep us all in the loop in the future, whether you'll be posting on ebaymotors, or prefer to sell directly... perhaps we can return a favor at some point as well? I wish I had the manifold you're looking for to offer you in trade...
Best wishes to one and all-- Klaus

Finally i have found a battery box in pretty good shape , and for a price way below the amount Dana wanted for his box... This box ended up to cost me $55 including shipping... What a nice deal , for me ??? There are parts out there that have not found high proffit owners... Yet...

Sorry !!! I wish i will find more parts like this one in the future...
