Ebay airball........................

Item # 2447974609 , with a RESERVE....HA,HA,HA! I love the confidence.

It's no 77, but I think this baby's gonna pass through its 10 day run with a big goose-egg for bids.

$500.00 should buy a bit more than a shell and tranny. But, I guess you never know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The exterior pics beckon you to see the inside don't they!

I would think a re-adjustment to like $200.00 would be in order as a starting bid, with $100 not being unreasonable IMO.

"Vehicle Description

1977 Rotary truck; solid body, auto tranny, no motor; good to be restore;

Vehicle Condition

The truck is very solid; will be a good proyect"

If that body and truck is very solid then this guy must drive a rustbucket on salted roads every day.

It isnt even a 77.
If u look closer you can see that the dran rail gose all the way to the back of the cab. In 77s, they stoped and had a dran rail that went down too, cause of the cab being about 4 inchs longer. You need to look close to see this though..

Their are some photos of 77 repu's in the gallery, if you went and looked at those you will se what im taling about. heh

nwaco, Ill email you later tonight about somethings. So keep an eye out for it. :)

2+2= Rotarydude...!

Hmmmnn.... San Antonio location... high price reserve... high confidence... 'djpinito'=dave rotarydude? I say odds are, it's him.
I'll also say I lust after the blue rx-3 next to that pre-77 REPU... though I'll never afford it...
And that REPU does have some nice parts to it, depsite the rust... too bad they'd be worth more as parts!
Too bad also that it sat there so long... but then, that's an all-too-familiar problem...

Bwahahahahaha!

$500.... and the reserve's not met yet! Pretty funny... Nevertheless, deserving of a 'Thank You!' for helping to boost our REPU's perceived value...

Yea, I've got to admit though....

as much as I enjoy these trucks, a man has got to call a spade, a spade, and that truck is no $500+ truck.

If it is "rotarydude", and we have only circumstantial evidence at this point, then if the other 60 vehicles in his collection are in that condition, I will say I'll take my 11 rotary collection anyday. Because even my worse is better than that beast.

But, I concede, there is no bad rotary truck, and even the most disrespected truck has value. so, alas, I must let it in from the cold and give it the respect deserves.

So yes Klaus, he has done us a service and helped our cause by asking and receiving a bid for what we believe to be in excess of fair market value.

Sorry, I have to edit, 1477 people have viewed it, and only "Markstoneberger" has seen the beauty.

Ya got to love it.

DjPinito and Rotarydude are not the same person, I know Rotarydude, DjPinito sells rotaries, Rotarydude collects and restores them.

Thanks, Rotorracer!

I hope no one gets offended by my previous guessing game. And, I might add, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there might be positive reasons for a relatively steep price tag... though we might disagree on what is appropriate, to those of us who care about these trucks, it can be hard to let go of projects for 'too little'... and anyone who's motivated enough to commit to a bit more just might be a rabid rotorhead as well... (if not wealthy!)
I still think $500 would have been a fairly top-dollar reserve price...
And I'm still envious of anyone who manages to make a living at restoring oldschool Mazdas! More power to him!
