Slave Cylinder Part Number correct?
Hi Guys I dug through the forum for a while and it seems the consensus with the slave cylinders you can get aftermarket are for the most part the fine thread 1st gen rx-7 ones.
I did however find this part number in the forum: SC37551
Rock auto says they have 1 in stock.
Is it the course thread or the fine thread?
Many thanks.

Best bet...
...might be for you to go take a look at it, and let us know.

RockAuto was the place that has one of those part numbers in stock so unfortunately I can't go look at it.
However, another possibility that came to mind was using the rebuild kit meant for a 1st gen rx7...
Do you guys know if that would work without a ton of modification?
Thanks again.

New slaves and rebuild kits are still available.
Have a look here.

Speaking of rebuilds, has anyone done one of these before? Do the rebuilt slaves last as long? I thought I remember hearing for longevity it is necessary to run a special hone through the slave bore to smooth out the wear ridge before using the rebuild kit... Is this true?
