help with my driveability problem, carb related.

I believe my REPU is a 77-78 f that helps diagnose my problem. The high rpms truck runs fine, low is differnt. It coughs, dies and wont idle very long and under load the problem gets worse. Can anyone shed some light to my problem?

Check for air leaks at an air hose or two, and check operability of the idle switch with an ohm meter at the first disconnect. Rough idle is usually a bad air/fuel mix. I thought there was a manual on line somewhere, you could check the troubleshooting chart, and this issue has been addressed before, so search the archives too.
