5 speed adapter plate
Does any one have a schematic or drawing of a adapter plate for 5 speed swap? or point me in the direction of a post that does. thanks

All Mazda Rotary Engines use the same transmission bolt pattern. At least up to 91. So if you want to swap in a 5 speed the only consideration is where the shifter will be. Turbo Trannys use a different flywheel and starter, but they too will fit.

adapter for tranny cross member. 5 speed sits a little further back! shifter location is the same, I read on here 1/4 inch steel plate is sufficient enough. Just wanted to know if someone sketched one that fit. To eliminate trial and error method.

im currently rockin the 5 speed out of a first gen and it fits on the stock cross member withe the stock mount and the only thing i had to do was notch out the floor becausae the shifter sits back further

thanks for everyones help. my truck had two sets of holes for crossmember. Perfect fit with back two holes. Just waiting for exhaust gaskets to come. thanks.
