rotary in a ranger?

i have a 1997 ford ranger... and i want to know how hard it would be fo take the motor, trans, wiring harness, and turbo setup out of a second gen rx7 and put it in my ranger? if any one knows someone thats done it or knows how hard it would be, could you E-mail me at Rich93ds@gmail.com and my ranger has a 2.4L with a 5-Spd.

I have seen a 5.0 in a ranger, but not a rotary... that'd be fairly trick.

Can it be done: sure. A custom frame-to-engine mount would need to be fabricated for both the engine and transmission. After that, all the fun of hooking up the electrical, clutch, cooling, oil cooling, and fuel delivery begins.

If you weld, or know a welder, that will get is 70% of the way. the rest is just as hard, IMHO, welding is the hardest
