New 74 REPU project??

So I found a 74 REPU for sale on Craigslist about a month or so ago here in Massachusetts of all places. It is a roller, and is missing many parts, but when I contacted the seller he said $1500 which seemed decent enough even if it were just a parts truck. Well one thing led to another, and I never had a chance to make the 1.5-2 hr drive to see the truck. Fast forward to yesterday when on a whim I texted the seller, and asked if he still had the truck. Well he did,and I set up a trip with a friend and his trailer to go have a look. I asked teh seller if he was still open to offers, and he replied yes, but nothing under $1000. So I stopped at the credit union and took out that exact amount for our trip.

I got the truck for the $1000 I had in my pocket. The truck is rough around the edges, has a hole in the roof where a sunroof used to live(wasn't someone on here selling a roof?), and is missing among many other things the hood. Which will be the toughest part to find I bet. Not really sure where to go with this, as it seems it would cost a fortune to get it to a running driving truck, but it also seems too nice to cut up as a parts truck. I will post pics later when I get home, and get it off the trailer. I also need to fugure out where to put this thing as I have no garage space right now. If nothing else I have a spare bed, cab, gauge cluster, doors, fenders, etc...

I thought for sure I saw the hood in the background when I saw that truck posted. I was tempted as well but there was nothing on it I needed and with the hole in the roof I didn't think I would be motivated to seek out the parts. Anyway, good luck with the project, I'm glad someone picked it up before it went to the scrapper. If you need any help let me know. I've got a busy summer but if you've got an afternoon of working on stuff planned and you need an extra hand I might be able to swing by.

Under closer examination the wheels on the truck are 15"x7" Enkei's. Any idea if they are rare? One has a slight chunk taken out of one lip, but is repairable.

After checking with some wheel guru's they seem to probably be just a simple set of stock GM wheels from a Blazer, or Suburban. Turns out Enkie made wheels for GM back in the 80's, and that Enkie has factories in the US, but these are made in Japan.
