...but they weren't on a REPU--they were rx-4, and they were 13, maybe 14" at best... and not wide, either. I like my 1st-gen 5-speed fine for what it's worth...tho 1st gear is super low... If you can find yourself a ribcase, and the parts to go inside, then it'd be the most original way to 5-speed your REPU--even if what it came out of means a few gear ratios are a bit different perhaps than what came in the '76-'77 5-speed REPU's. Rearend ratios were all the really low ones, except for '77, when they went with a real tall rearend.
