For Sale - One Owner Street Ready '77 REPU
1977 Rotary pickup purchased off a dealer lot in '78 as a demo. The engine is a 13B rebuilt by Dave Atkins in '92 when it had 172K on it. The body was retouched and repainted at the same time. Current milage is 182K. It has been garaged most of the time since 1982. It starts promptly with little smoke and has tons of power. All parts are stock except for the clutch master cylinder which was built from RX7 parts in '05.
The body is in great shape with a few rust bubbles and some rust-through at the leading edge of the bed floor and over the battery cage. The drivers side floorboard has rust but is solid. The choke no longer works automatically. I use a coin while warming it up.
The rear suspension is beefed up with air shocks and helper springs from the days when I cut my own firewood. Steering is bit tight at the extremes of a turn, but has no shiver to it.
I have the original bill of sale and title, receipts from the rebuild and all the original glove box books and touch-up paint.
I have taken great care of this truck and it has served me well. It is now time to pass it along to a collector for the next 30 years.
I had difficulty uploading photos to the Gallery, so I put a set of photos on my Flickr page. The link is below.
Asking price: $7,000 OBO (sorry, no trades)
