FS 5/74 Unmolested all original REPU

I have for sale my '74 REPU. I have a potential buyer but in case he decides he wants a different toy I am posting this feeler. This truck was parked in a dry storage shead for the last 16 years. I pulled it home, flushed the tank, rebuilt the carb and the rear brakes and have driven it about 300 miles.
This is an all original UNMOLESTED 5 of '74. This truck has everything the factory put there in the right places. The only missing part is the roll out battery tray. The body is very solid with a light patina of rust on the red paint. It has never been repainted. The two trouble areas of the bottom of the fenders and the mate between the top of the fender and cowl have surface rust but no rust through. It has never been wrecked and has absolutly no body damage. It does have a nickle size dent in the chrome of the hood/grill
It has 78,000 documented miles (N.C. registration documents) The truck still has all of the paper tags on the wire harness under the hood. It still has all the smog pump stuff and the dealer installed AC. (works but needs charging - will include (3) cans of real R12).
Engine was properly pickled when parked and it started right up. It smoked at start up (result of the pickling) but has cleared up. Still a slight puff when starting now but it gets cleaner every time I start it.
Transmission is the original 4sp and has no noise.
All glass is perfect with no delamination
Door panels and interior is in great shape but does have two very slight cracks in the dash. Interior door light even works.

Areas that need attention:
Carb vacume (Hatachi) secondaries are not working
Tie rods and idler arm bushings should be replaced
AC needs charging
Seat needs to be recovered

Truck is available for viewing in N.E Georgia by appt. I have a clean Georgia title.
Price is $5,000 firm. I really do not want to sell right now but I have too many toys. Serious Inquiries Only. I really appreciate REPU lovers but if you do not have the money or if you are just a tire kicker please do not waste our time.
I can be contacted via e-mail at wallysworld@alltel.net.
If my friend does not buy it or it does not sell here I will post it to e-bay and sell it to some German or perhaps an Aussie.
Cheers
Wallace (aka kubotawally on e-bay)

Sorry guys, but the truck is sold. I spoke to him last week, and it's got a new home.

Might we ask...

...if it traded at the asking price?
