Continued

I didnt get a chance to reply since someone closed the last topic.

Ken, fair enough. I will read through ALL the old posts.
You should understand that in on online forum the thing that makes it fun for new members is interaction.
If we are expected to read old posts and not partcipate, why would I want to post here?
I cant imagine that the owner of the forum intended this forum as an archivve only.
Also I did not lash out at people for not posting as much as I was defending my right TO post (worthy info or not)
I really dont care if you like me personally or not. I talk cars, I talk cars ALOT. I have something ridicoulous like 12,000 posts between all the rotary forums. If you dont find interest in my topics then simply dont post on them.

The bottom line is I am excited about my new (to me) Repu truck. My wife doesnt get as excited about it as i do.
So I came to the REPU forum to shoot the shit about my truck. I didnt necessarily come here to read though all your old posts. If I run into a road block and need help. I will use all the resources this place has to offer.
So far I am just waiting for some more interesting stuff to pop up.

I do appreciate the chat with the talkative members, you know who you are :)

Cheers.

-One talkative rotor nut.

They need a "lounge" on the forum. That way all of us "chatty" people don't irritate others. On the RX7Club forum they have regional forums. They put a "lounge" within the South forum because there are about 40 or so of us that hang out with each other in DFW. So we have a tendency to BS a bunch. The only nights there are not regular get togethers by forum people here is Sunday and Tuesday and now that Monday Night Football is over we won't be doing Mondays. Don't get me wrong not all the people show up to every event but there is a huge amount of activity with parties and such.
Two of our guys were in Iraq. One is still there the other got back and he was able to keep in touch with everybody at once through the forum. We value our friendships as much as our cars.
We have some great pics in the main South forum before they gave us a lounge too.

Don't get me wrong I love the serious and technical posts more than general BS. I would like nothing more than to see some PICTURES of the new fiberglass valance for example.

No lounge'n here... As the admin, I will like to keep this site on topic, and free of crap.

If you are looking for a lounge, go to the rx7forum or no pistons... not here.. OK?!

So, please keep that in mind, most of us like the low-post-count nature of this site, as the quality of what's posted is much higher that elsewhere.

I will also close threads that I feel are getting to off topic, or if others email me and request that a thread be closed because it is getting too off topic.

This is a Forum for REPUs. We talk about REPUs... while it can be hard to keep it on topicm please resist posting non-repu topics. Keep this site focused and CLEAN.
