I live in a small town right next to Plymouth Massachusetts. At one time my town was the cranberry capital of the world, but now the berry bussiness has sorta dried out.My house is about 4 miles from the Plymouth rock.I would be willing to bet I have the only registered REPU in the state of Mass. The registry had no record of the REPU.They had to guestimate the book value for sales tax on it.My truck came from Georgia, and lived alot of its life in NC.

Oh yeah by the way the truck is safe from all the nasty snow we just got up here this past weekend.

I am in Scottsdale AZ. I have never seen another REPU here except a couple at a local wrecking yard. Mine came down from Colorado with me when I moved out. I think my whole time in CO I saw one other REPU besides mine. They arent too common in the SW US.

I'm in Los Angeles, CA

And see a white one with camper a few times a year. Saw another one @ Kragen once or twice. None too common at all to spot REPU.

Actually on that note my parents live in Sonoma wine country and my mom keeps seeing a light green one that "is really loud". Anyone here own it?

Eugene, Oregon....

And it seems my REPU's have originated from places between Portland and the SF Bay area... Yep, I think they all came in thru the NW ports...

Origin

Atlanta, Ga.
But my truck made a gradual trip across the USA. I flew to Oklahoma in 95' to buy it and drove it back home, but after pulling the carpet out and finding 2 ticket stubbs to the California State Fair I assume it was sold new on the west coast.
Of course after being unloaded and shipped from the Mazda facility in Oregon.
I wonder if states vehicle records ever become public after a certain time to allow searches of old vin registrations? I guess I am dreaming...

To answer your question,

Mini-T, (at least sort of), yes, somewhere we do have the approximate production figures for the REPU years... it boils down to approximately 15,000 units ever made, most of 'em being '74's. Anyone's guess as to how many survive, and in what condition... nevermind how few run and drive!
Pretty cool, huh? (All except for the sad tales of Mazda parts, and whole cars/trucks, going into the crusher...)

well i'm new here. just joined tonight. i live in yelm washington and purchased my first and only rotory truck about 3 yrs ago for $200 in seattle. running even. its a 74 with the 13b and the fastest i've had it was 135 mph. we clocked it with my buddies supra cause my needle was buried. i know they are capable of more but. so any ways i'd like the chance to join all of you on here and i want to learn more about my little truck. the apex seals went out and i don't know much about the engines but i do understand the concept. i'm a newbie for sure.

Clackamas, Oregon. :)

I think its really hard and rare to se them on the east coast.
Like I have told klaus, we should have a big Oregon rotor meet. Or just have a big repu meet up sometime in the summer. :)
