REPU Vin Number Tag Missing

I have a 1975 REPU and was looking fo the VIN # tag on the dash and noticed that it doesn't have one. Does anyone know if there is suposed to be one or if there is one in another location?

isn't it on the plate in the rear passenger side of the engine bay, on that shelf?

And if those don't pan out......

there is the vin number stamped on the outside of the frame in the forward side of the left front wheelwell.
