Paint on Bed Liner

I'm going to try a "paint on bed-liner" from JC Whitney this weekend... Any suggestions or other recomendations before I start?

Clean out all the nooks and crannies first. It should come out looking pretty good.

liner

I did the same thing a few years ago and found that if you use a strong degreaser, scrape the loose paint and sand whats left to a rough finish the liner will stick. The only thing is since it is a paint on finish some solvents(gasoline) will cause it to come off if they come in contact.

Do not get that stuff on you. My friend got it all over his hands and it took like a month to wear off, lol

It did come out pretty well though, but hasn't held up all that well compaired to the comercial spray on type.
