Think your SOL. You may have to go with a used one. I couldn't find one on NAPA. All of the other parts stores have web sites also so you may want to try them

There hasn't been a known source for that part for some time. Have you tried to service the one on your repu yet? There have been a few guys here that have attempted to do so with mixed results. I tried to do that on mine and it gives me a reading, but not very accurate.
Clean the contacts on the outside connectors with some contact cleaner and some steel wool til they are shiney. You can test the sender with an ohm meter and check your fuel gauge by grounding one of the leads on the wire harness that goes to sender. When grounded properly, the gauge should read "full".
There is a thread on here that details this better. You should be able to find easily.

I agree
Hey Brad,
got the parts thanks! I saw that unit from summit and another from overtons.com
http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?r=view&i=74917&aID=21G&cID=FROOGLE_74917
The one from Summit has 2 different types. I have some resitors to check the ohms that are called out for. The 33-240 seems a little high. Its is 240 ohms empty and 33 ohms full. I will check the ohms to see if this will work. The type 1 sending unit from Summitt seems to be the closes to the REPU. Luckily they are five holes for mounting like the REPU just hope they line up. Lets just hope it works.

REPU is 82.5 ohms empty, 43 ohms 1/2 full, 12ohms full.
I'm searching for a plug-n-play replacement right now and can't find one.

Can't find a good replacement. There's always the autometer sender and autometer gauge.

Pics
Hey Brad,
I sent you some pictures of some new mods of electronic ignition, T2 tranny and exhaust. Just wanted to make sure they didnt get dumped into your junk mail. Take a peek and let me know what you think.
You have this sending unit thing resolved yet? ... we have to figure something out. Would love to keep the old gauge with no tack ons.

I actually talked to those guy already. I have my sending unit paked up and ready to go to them for a rebuild. I will send it out today. Talking to them, they say the REPU unit is a simple one to refurbish. We will see how it goes.

Certainly let us know how the service and rebuild goes. I have a unit for the project truck that I would just as soon send out now than to wait for it to fail later. Damn this thing is a money pit :)
