I think I'm in trouble. I took my dash apart about 3 weeks ago and I'm putting it together to register the truck and I dont remember if there ever was a vin# on the dash. Is there one and where is it located? Is it stamped, I cant find anything on the metal part or dashpad.
Vin is on a plate in the drivers door jam and on the cowl under the hood, also on the frame drivers side in front of the front wheel. Can be seen just under the windshield washer bottle. 74-76 trucks never had a dash vin. Not sure about 77.
