FlingPU Rally truck

Hi Jeff, prcracer

Will the REPU be rallying this year? Some of us might like to specate.

I live in Southern Califoria can can go to these races if REPU will be there.

Rim of the World Rally 1 Apr 27 Lancaster, CA
Rim of the World Rally 2 Apr 28 Lancaster, CA

Gorman Ridge Rally Aug 18 Frazier Park, CA

Did the T2 LSD work out? Truck driveable?

Yes, the truck is running now. I am still breaking it in. So far the dif is working great and every thing is going well. The first event we are planning on is Feb 24 in Jean Nevada (just outside of Las Vegas). Beyond that I am not sure, both of the two SoCal events are possibilities. I will keep you posted as to results and future events.

Say Jeff, what if anything is being used for lateral axel location. Stock or poly bushings in the leaf springs? Any additional leafs?

After doing some caynon runs lately I'm researching rear suspension options.

At this point I am using new stock rubber bushings. I have removed the overload and the next leaf. No lateral panhard rod but I have installed a horizontal Mustang shock from the top of the dif housing to control the wheel hop.

REPU rally truck

Next weekend we will be competing at Jean Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas,in the Seed 9 rally. Just completed a run on the Prescott Rally course and all systems seem to be fine. We are entered in the Historic and performance stock classes.
If you go to rallydata.com next Saturday there should be live scores online. Competition starts at 9 AM.

Mazda Rally REPU

Yes, you could say that. We were 3rd quick in class on stage 1 but , on stage 2 we lost the compression on the front rotor and just limped into the finish. I have to pull the motor out next weekend and see if we can get it fixed in time for Desert Storm rally 3/23and 3/24.

Will the FlingPu REPU be at the Rim April 28-29?

I'll be there, they also have an auto-x and I can't wait to try the Torsen out dodging cones.

No, I don't have the motor fixed yet. I might go any way though, as a friend from here is going to race his Ranger.
I will let you know and maybe we can have a beer, Jeff

We are entered for Gorman, but I am just getting the motor back in and I hope to have it broken-in in time. I will let you know how I progress.
