REPU decals

Anyone know what happened to the guy that made the decals? People have mentioned on other forums that they can't get hold of him, now the wesite is down, allegedly for 'maintenance'. I'll need those decals soon for my restore.
Anyone know him?

People, we have a problem. Juan no longer can do this due to costs (from RX-7 club forum). Some of you creative types out there can surely come up with a way to make these at a decent price...

Damn!!!

Does he have any inventory remaining that he'd like to close out to us here, maybe? Perhaps he has enough 'stuff' used to make all the oldschool decals that he might wish to part with ...?

I know of some decal shops

that may be able to help out. They would need the program from Juan first of course. many decal shops don't crank them out all day and sit unused...............

Well....

If anyone knows of a new set floating around I can buy, I have a very good friend with a decal shop that can make them no problem, probably alot cheaper than VRD sold them. If anyone can find a new set that may be left over that I can buy, I'll get Bob going on it right away. I never bought a set because I though VRD would always be there....

...nevermind that...

...Dan's perspective on Vegas-based 'ebargainllc' and that lt. blue REPU they've currently up on Ebaymotors would be... interesting...

How's Dennis treating you, Martin?

Shhhh! I'm being very very quiet and he just won't notice me sitting over here.

Honestly you get a different perspective once you've been wiped out by one. I was watching an interview of someone in the panhandle and he saying something like, "Well, all we can do is get ready and hope that it turns an go somewhere else."

So I'm listening to this when I realise... Hey! He's talking about it coming to ME!

They have to go somewhere I guess. I don't wish it on anyone, esp since the panhandle took such a beating.

I'm feeling al ittle fuzzy tonight though, I didn't quite understand the ebargainllc thing. Can you clarify?

They're a Vegas-based

Ebaymotors seller of Mazda parts... and currently a lt. blue or perhaps teal-colored REPU... do the 'Mazda Rotary' search!

ebargainllc is Samuel Valafar. I've bought from him and sold to him, very nice guy, but not an expert on the rotary cars, despite being into them for several years. I've had to send him emails more than once about emblems, parts, etc. that couldn't possibly have come from the model he stated, or a Mazda at all. I sent Dan a link to the blue repu a day after it was posted, but didn't hear anything back from him, not sure he even got the email, come to think of it.
