Anybody running poly bushings? People on the net complain they are very squeaky and noisy. Heck, I've got that with the old rubber ones. Got a source pr part # for the polys? I called one distributer and he said I'd have to call the mfgr myself, but they would probably tell me to drop dead!

Best way to remove lower a arm bushings? Three web sites, three different answers. Drill, burn or press out. Anyone who did this already what do you think?

My front suspension is kinda soft, but I have an AC compressor up there that adds a lot of weight and still have KYB shocks I put in about 10 years ago. Tried new Monroe shocks but had to take them back, they were way worse than the old KYB's.

Yep, my Monroe shocks suck. It looks like KYB for me.

Also, here's a question for you guys. When installing cut springs, should the cut section go up or down? I think it should face up. Thoughts?

I think it would be best if you put them with the cut side facing up since they may not seat right, so they would be less likely to shoot out of the top since it has more protection. Does that make sense?

Yep. On a Fiat forum, they suggested puting the cut part at the top for better spring travel or something. I guess it wouldn't hurt to flip mine around?

Jeff20B,

did you find out what springs he was using? (see below)

"I'm trying to figure out which springs are in my friend's REPU since they seem to be perfect (not too hard, not too soft, even lowered 3 inches). "

thanks, rotarypwrd

Yeah, he's using the stock springs with old KYBs. That's why his ride is so good. Kinda weird, huh?
