The new rear suspension is done....

Here it is.Traction bars used as never seen before. It's a standard camaro traction bar with a block welded to the frt of it.The block has a teflon bushing and steel sleeve that's bolted up using the stock frt perches.Track locator used as a panhard bar.QA1 coil over shocks.Still test and adjusting.

nice... Is that a REPU rear end? I haven't really looked at mine since the truck is in the shop.... Have you driven on the QA1 shocks?
I was thinking of getting somne since it would be nice cuz they could be replaced with Shockwave shocks by air ride technologies.. They have airbags and use a QA1 shock also..

Nice setup..

That's a GM rear end.The shocks or suspension are a little stiffer than I wanted.I'm not done though.

Aren't those shocks 12 way adjustable though... Maybe you need lighter springs..

nice

that looks like a nice setup. the truck will handle better if the panhard rod is lower, like lower than the axel centerline. that will lower the rear roll center a lot.

best of luck and thanks for sharing with us!

What's the width of that GM rear in comparison to the REPU rearend? I was thinking about wapping in a GM rear end just because of the ease ith which you can convert to rear-disc brakes but was concerned with finding one to match the width of the stock rear.

What did that rear end come out of?
