Spring options besides coilovers?
My truck has brad's coilovers installed now. It's too low. I don't have enough travel to handle highway driving. Am I right in assuming that brad's kit drops the truck 2"? I think I'd like to be at about 1". What are my options?
I've heard of people getting custom wound springs but after a bunch of internet searches I couldn't find a place.
Also, if anyone has some stock springs I'd love to have a set to try out. Maybe I'd be fine at stock height.

Coil Overs
I'd be interested in your coilovers if your interested in selling them. I think I have a set of stockers here, maybe we could work out something.

That's definitely a possibility. I'm not sure just yet I want to let the coilovers go though. I may try trimming the bump stops or finding some smaller ones. The ride quality is pretty decent up until I hit something that requires more than 1" of travel.

Here's an update. I grabbed a set of these MOOG replacement springs for the Ford Courier:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mog-cc250
http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=MOOG-CC250
Uncompressed they were 13.5" tall. I was curious as to what the height of the truck would look like with them installed. Unfortunately they were too tall. I tried several different techniques to get them installed including spring compressors. However, every approach would fall short about 2" and when I tried to lift the control arm into place it would just lift the truck off the jack stands.
Long story short, I cut them down to 12" and they popped into place much better and provide a decent ride height. Ride quality is great. Handling is soft so I may try the addco sway bar next.

hello all. i just bought a repu and was looking around on the net for front lowering springs. i found jc whitney has a pair that lowers an inch and a half for 160$?
pretty sure thats all correct, i'll look for a link to verify.
i have been thinking about buying them and adding a 2 inch block to compensate the back. picking up some 17's next week ;)
