Center link

The center link from the Courier is just the same as the REPU, except it is about 3 inches narrower. Buy the courier and have it widened with a sleeve to match the old REPU one you have. That is what I did and it works perfectly.

i definently thought of that i know it would simple and effective but the only thing that im concerened about is the end i would love to be able to modify that to be able to thread a tie rod end in or on it some how so that if it needed to be replaced it would that much easier cause not nowing the availibilty of new courier centerlinks all the old ones probably have the same problem but i will pull one and do some experimenting and let you know

I got one from Autozone a few years back, turned out to be the shorted Courier one. Sent it back and ordered again, same problem. I cut mine and had a sleeve welded in.

The courier and b-series parts are plenty available. Mazda made alot more of those than they did REPUs. Lucky for us most suspension parts are interchangable with them.

I think a ball joint would be a better thing to put in there instead of a tie rod end.

It reminds me of the 1st gen rx7 ball joints.

Perhaps one from a honda civic or geo metro would be small enough to do the trick.
