Who has part #s for castle nuts
Anyone have part number for the two castle nuts that go on the lower a-arm shaft? They are 14mm x 1.0mm thread but no one has them in stock. So want to try stock mazda parts if I can get a part number.
Thanks,
Brad

Nowadays when I have a problem like that I reach for Google, and sure enough "castle nuts" turned up a treasury of nut vendors, including castlenuts.com!

I spent 2 hours last nite looking
and could not find it. It's an oddball thread, 14mm x 1.0mm. Many places had x1.5mm or x2.0mm
I think at this time since I'm only missing one castle nut, I'll go to ace hardware and get a normal hex nut and loctite that puppy on. And try to find replacement castle nuts from other cars, since the auto industry seems to almost exclusively use fine threaded nuts. Hopefully another mazda vehicle uses a similar nut. Looks like another trip to the boneyard for reconnaissance.

Gotta wonder...
...if there were any other Mazda applications that used that thread/pitch nut...? Also, I don't suppose Couriers used those...?

yeah Klaus,
i'm hoping 1st or 2nd gen rx7 used the same thread and pitch castle nut on their suspension somewhere. i'll just buy a new bolt that uses same thread and see what at the junkyard will thread onto it.
