Need A-arm Bushings

I am in need of bushings for my lower control arms. Anyone have a suggestion(s) for a source and / or maybe even a part number? HELP would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Rob

Bush, Rubber -- Lower Spindle :

Part Number: 0193 34 820 Q'ty: 4

...you might try a 'VIN-specific' search with your friendly local Mazda parts man making the call to Japan, if otherwise unavailable.

Let me know if you can get 'em, and if they're cheep, get me a set, too, please!

Alternate idea: Source the courier version part #, and start calling the 'obsolete' Ford parts houses across the country...

This is where I got my lower control arm bushings as well as the upper cross shaft.

I think you can order online and have them shipped to you.

If not, let me know and I can pick them up locally.

Thanks Guys,

Took Billy's advice and picked up a couple pair from O'Reilly's. About $20 a pair. BUT, replacing those things is a real PAIN..... especially without the proper spring compressor. I still don't know how to press the new ones into the A-arm without damaging the outer face rubber. I ended up grinding off the "bumps" on the OD that insure a TIGHT fit so I could get them in with a reasonable press. Getting the old ones out and off the shaft was no picnic either. Anyway, thanks for the assist.

Bushing replacement

Not looking forward to doing this job.
Everyone has had a tought time of it.
The REPU and the Courier manuals suck.
No mention of the proper way to do this.
argh .... the insanity .....

When I did mine I lost allot of sweat, tears and blood. Screaming curse words. Cut my finger open with a brand new razor blade. Passed out. Seriously! This was just the task of removing the old bushings!

I tried to press the new ones in and got no where but a half pressed bushing and the center torn out of another.

I ended up dropping them off at the local auto machine shop and picked them up 2 hours later and paid $25. Best $25 I have ever spent in my life.

For those in the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area

The company below installed the LCA bushings and did a great job. $10.00 for one a-arm. They finished the bushing pressing that another shop could not. Did it on the spot no appointment in 15 minutes.

Said the trick was to put a fork under the a-arm ear, where the bushing squeezes into.
