lower valance-air intake, etc...

Hey there yello--
Sorry to say to the best of my knowlege those sheetmetal pieces below the front bumper are perhaps the most difficult to locate in good condition of all REPU parts... I myself would give my eyeteeth, and my firstborn if I had one, for NOS Mazda lower valance & air intake panels. Apparently when they did exist, they once listed for about $56.00 for the two pieces--now they're made from purest 'unobtainium'. Anyone who knows otherwise is invited to contact me directly, and may attempt to extort me to the best of their ability... the headlight 'door' pieces may be easier... betcha repuguru has used spares (?)...
REPU ladies? Where??? Bikini? What bikini???
Good luck!

I agree. That lower valence panel is hard to come by. I have a perfect one hanging in my basement, but at this point the only thing I'll use it for is to cast molds from. Which by the way is what I did about 7 or 8 years ago. Yeah the one on the front of my 77 is reproduction. Its been holding up to the daily grind for about 6 years.
I'll see what the guy will run some off for if any one is interested. I know it'll be close to $100+ apiece.
I also have another unique item. A center floor console for the REPU. This is a dealer option item that came out of a box with a big M on it. I'll get a pic of it. Its mounts perfectly under your main console and goes to the floor covering the heater motor and venting. There is a large tray that surrounds your gear shifter that you attach. The only other one I have seen was in a picture. Maybe the fiberglass guy could use it for a mold to build some for the REPU guys?

Hot Damn! Guru, you've got the 'glass plan!

Sounds like you beat the rest of us to it... was just discussing the fiberglass repro. valance/air intake option w./ a local pal... what a coinc-e-dinc! Close to $100? for one that really, really fits? Exact copy? Hell, yeah! Sign me up! "I'd buy that for a dollar."
Found: replacement clutch slave cylinders, slightly different casting, same repu/early rx4 coarse threads-- $20
Hose to fit, new from dealer, $17.95
Also sez bumper center section still avail. at $110
Hood leading edge trim unavailable, tho...
Get this: Taillight lenses, about $17 each! But: you'll never, ever guess what a taillight trim-ring goes for...
FORTY-EIGHT and CHANGE!!!!!!! Zoom-zoom??? More like RIP!
Where's the buddy with the big box of 'em now???

Count me in if you can get the lower Valance

REPU-GURU, count me in for one of the lower valance's, mine is fixable but there is so much rust it'd be cheaper to spend the $100. Klaus did you say you can get tail light lenses for $17.00. I've got 4, but age has taken a toll on them. Might want to get some for when these give up and fall off, or get broken. If anyone knows of a hood in the southeastern US, let me know, I'd even take a courier hood.

...those prices are what I was quoted over the phone from the local Mazda dealer parts dept. for the taillight lenses and the trimrings... I asked when I got ahold of the part #'s... apparently they still exist--tho this is unverified--and those trimrings are worth their weight in platinum!!!
