Need 1x factory wheel w/beauty ring.

Hi all, I have 3 black wheels like this:

And one like this:

Does anyone have 1 wheel that they would either sell to me, or trade me for my 1 white wheel? Please no bent ones, can be with or without a tire, and condition of paint isn't too important since I will be reconditioning all 4 in the end.

Shoot me offers or prices.

Eric -- Responding here since your email is "private" --.

Since you're in Louisiana and I'm in Oregon, shipping would be a factor. Shipping a junk tire on a rim could be as or more costly than paying a tire shop to remove it, first...

A stock rim I could spare... but beauty rings come in sets of four, and I'm guessing were a dealer add-on (?)... only set I own don't look exactly like the one you pictured, anyway.

Contact me if you're still interested.

Alright, give me your quote for unmounting the rim, one black wheel, and 4 chrome rings :(

statingtheobvious@gmail.com is the email. And please be gentle.

(Emails exchanged...)

You don't mind if it's not black, since you'll be refinishing 'em all anyway -- it just needs to be a stock wheel, correct?

Correct, as long as the actual rim is the same as in my picture, that's all I care about.

Bump for Eric's thread!

I was sure I still had a certain 'orphan' stock wheel, (which happened to be yellow)... but after digging thru everything and not finding it, (let alone where I expected), I have no recollection of what happened to it. (D'oh!)

Somebody help Eric out -- any REPU owner motivated enough to reconstruct cab rust-through deserves our support!

If I pull the carpet up I could probably get my shoe to touch the highway! But seriously...thanks for the bump Klaus!

Least I can do, under the (embarrassing) circumstances.

A friend suggested calling Rob Golden at Pineapple Racing... perhaps he has an extra?

So, I was able to source 8 of these wheels here in town thru a rotary friend who's been gone for a few months. Well anyways, I got my 1 good rim that I needed, but I still need the chrome beauty ring.

Anyone willing to part with simply one chrome beauty ring?

Nice, now you've got two sets + three spares, lol!

Might there still be a source for 14" trim rings *somewhere*... like J.C. Whitney, maybe?

Lots of cars and trucks 'back when' had 14" wheels with trims...

I know right? I'll give JC a try. This guy came into work a week ago had an old 6 lug Nissan pick-up, and he only had one 14" chrome beauty ring, I offered him money for it but he said he was in the same boat I'm in, trying to get just the rings themselves.
