WTB Hood Trim and Rear Tail Light Ring

Hi

I just bought the blue 75 in the for sale section. The truck is fairly complete (Save these 2 parts and the battery box) and am looking to restore it to more original condition. I'll intorduce myself in the main forum shortly.

Thanks

Mark

Yes, that's the truck. Unfortunately, I'm not near there. I live near Fort Worth. Drove the truck down from Arkansas. The 20 gallon gas tank is nice... made the trip no problem on one tank...

Any chance you have a fairly clean hood trim and a rear tail bezel?

RotaryRob: Any chance you were the original owner of the truck? The gentleman I bought it from said he purchased it locally...

Well, you are still not too far away. My main home is in Tulsa. Let me know if you decide to replace that 12A. I don't think I have an "extra" hood trim or tail light bezel. Those bezels break and get dented easily.. Hard to find good ones. I have a hood or two with trim but wouldn't want to rip the trim off to sell separately.

No ... I didn't own the truck. Someone around there had two of them a couple years ago. I bought a '75 a couple years ago in Ft. Smith that has a chevy V6 in it. It may become a parts truck or get resold.

Good luck with your new toy.

Can't help with those, but...

if you decide to ditch the 12A and go for an original 4port 13B, I just bought a running '76 Cosmo that the engine was supposedly rebuilt just a year or so ago (runs beautifully). I bought the car just to have spares (the floors are gone), and don't necessarily need the engine right now, in case you'd be interested...

Neal.

Thanks for the offer, Neal... The truck runs well enough for now, so I am going to try to concentrate on restoring the body first...

Beautifully running, 'correct', early...

...4-port 13B's are a rarity. I'd be all over that, if I had but one REPU, and it had a 12A --and I was near enough to come get it--. How much are you asking, Neal?
