steering part
does anyone know if center links (aka transverse) are still available? oem preferred, but aftermarket is fine too. i've been getting my steering tightened up and i'm almost there. last thing will probably be the steering box, but i want to make sure everything else is addressed first. thanks in advance!

I don't think its available nos or aftermarket. Please let us know if you find a source. I did see on another rotary site where someone had some front end parts scratch made for his rx2. I'll try to find the thread.

I've checked a couple of online autoparts stores, like autopartswarehouse, which they list the part as available, but cancel the order after it is placed due to it being out of stock. I'm just wondering if it really is just out of stock or not available indefinitely. I guess the search will continue. Thanks for the reply!

Tom tried to get one from autozone
and they sent him a courier one instead. Which he lengthened to repu width.
I have searched everywhere and no one has a repu specific steering center link. I think if we can find a way to get the ball joint outta there, and a replacement balljoint installed we'd be set. It's rare they bend and they're behind the oilpan and generally out of the way.
we could always try to have one fabbed like banzai did with the deuce.

In my quest for one I called Rare Parts http://www.rareparts.com/
They said they would have rebuilt mine if I sent it to them. This was a couple years ago but you might try them.
As Brad said, I got a Courier one from Autozone and had a local fabricator lengthen it by cutting and welding a sleeve over it.

i'll follow up on that lead. i'm still relatively new to the area i live in now, so i dont have nearly the same resources that i had in LA.
