REPU parts wanted
I have decided to "restore" my white 1975 REPU rather than sell it so I am looking for:
Drivers side front bumper mounted orange colored parking/ directional light lens, underhood decals, tailgate "Rotary Power" decals, and a dash pad worth recovering.
They probably don't exist, but some fuse covers would be good to find as well.
Anyone suggest a replacement material for the tailgate chain covers???
How about some bucket seats that work from another
Truck is well along with body prep as I sand blasted the rust of the bed Monday night in local college body shop class. Some Zinc Chromate primer and rust resistant paint and it will be good to go for awhile.
Front bumper assy restoration complete except for lens mentioned above.
Next is windshield removal for paint around frame, then get new windshield installed that is sitting at local glass shop.
TIA , Bob C

There's a thread around here in the 'interior' section that has a couple of guys that still make the decals, striping, and underhood labels. Juan is one.
Don't know about the seats, but I found the orange lamps on ebay...certain old toyota lights are compatible. There's a thread on this somewhere as well.
Good Luck!

Parts:
Turn signal lens -- Far as I recall, the driver's side is NLA, so we're stuck with whatever we can locate that's still intact; a while ago, I was still able to get the other side one NOS from my local dealer, via a VIN-# specific order from Japan, if memory serves.
Decals -- Much written on other threads around here regarding these; two options, besides making your own, that I recall -- Juan at Vintage Rotary Decals, and Brad(?)...
Buckets that fit -- Good luck, unless you're really thin; do let us all know if you find anything that really works! One of my 'project' grade REPU's that I still have available (For Sale!)*does* have low-back 'bucket' seats installed by the P.O. that don't seem to suck up *too much* room, but I can't say they'd be my first choice, and I have no idea what they came from... (?)
Dash Pad -- Anything that can be recovered, is likely worth recovering... unless you can find better...
Tailgate Chains -- Unknown; whatever works... (do let us know!) (Something from a Courier, or from a newer truck...?)

They pop up on ebay from time to time. I think there is one on there now but it was the passenger side. Or you could order one from Austrailia. The R100 uses the same lense.

Tailgate chain covers

Bicycle innertubes work better than original equipment (OEM). BUT cut a small hole in the bottom to drain water. And get the heavy duty THICK ones.

Greetings, Jack...
...and welcome to the Forum! *TEN* REPU's ?!? That's gotta be some kind of record, even around here! Absolutely, odds are, someone here got one or more of your trucks.
Hope you'll be sticking around -- I'm sure your experience'll come in handy for many of us, from time to time.

Hi Klaus...as a little aside, I had one automatic truck (rear end gear ratio of 4.37:1 or some such) that was not nearly as fast as the standard shift trucks (4.71:1 or there about). Well, I just couldn't live with that...LOL. And since I had two parts trucks, I took the complete 3rd member outta one of the standard shift parts truck and put it in the automatic. And WOW...what a difference that made...LOL. I even put a 3500 RPM stall speed converter in the automatic and that thing really launched good...and after holding it in 1st and 2nd 'till about 8000 to 9000 RPM, well, you know the rest...LOL...street ported 13B's make some real horspower between about 4000 and 8500 RPM. There were a whole bunch of cars out there that just DID NOT understand that little "dumb lookin'" truck. But they got a good look at that "ROTARY POWER" sign. Most comments were, "what is that"? My answer, "You wouldn't understand". Cuz if I'da gone into all the "ramifications" of the Rotary Engine, we'da just burned up a case of beer and 4 hours of time...and gained absolutely NOTHING...LOL

Very cool!
I'm sure there were plenty of 'hot rodders' surprised to see what was making that peculiar noise... and how little space it took up under your hood!
Did you ever take bets/show 'em how you could run without your plug wires hooked up?
Bet you were wishing for a limited slip in your diff...
