Wiper nuts
That hold the assembly against the cowl. Sorry to bother y'all for such a piddly part, but I have searched all home centers and hardware stores in my area..something about the thread pitch on the shaft is "special".

...regarding these. A decent fastener specialty shop ought to be able to assist identifying thread pitch.

Unless...
...they changed the thread pitch on those, just like, for example, the clutch slave cylinder/hose connect went from coarse to fine thread, oldschool - 1st gen. ...

Wiper Nuts
On the 77 the nuts are 12X 1.00 mm, haven't looked into a 74 or 75 yet.
