'Torque ported'?

A header which collects sooner (closer to the housings) will move your powerband towards lower RPM's... the total length of your intake from carb to housing will also alter this charactaristic...

torque ported

i've heard this referred to streetporting the intake and not porting the exhaust.

but generally the words torque and rotary are not used in the same sentence.

porting for torque

Of course that is the "common" and oft repeated mantra for the rotary engine.
However, increasing the flow thruput without changing the effective timing of the intake and exhaust charges will, as on any other naturally aspirated engine, increase the BMEP and have a positve effect on engine torque.
This can and has been done, grasshopper..
Think : increase the window port areas without increasing the duration, or the overlap..
Still looking for the holley 4 BBL manifold.

Mr. Coffin?

Bob,

I have a RB intake manifold on my REPU right now with what is supposedly a Holley 600. I am looking to get rid of it ASAP and install stock fare. One of my friends here locally has mentioned in the past he wanted it when I take it off, but I'll have to see if he still needs/wants it. Give me a call if you don't find one (616.225.0780).

Thanks Neal, for posting reply.
I am DEFINITELY interested.
Also may still have some of thse parts to trade that you wanted...while i was still in AZ.
And the stock 13B 4 port parts to install that you need to bring back to stock condition.
