WTB: Stock Exhaust

Yes... you read correctly. I am looking for a complete (or as close to as possible) stock REPU exhaust system for my truck in decent overall shape. I currently have a header and open exhaust and it's just too loud for my tastes. Any help?

Exhaust

Does the stock repu exhaust have a rectangular crome tip? If so I may have one.

Yep...

...they sure did. My yellow truck has a full original exhaust, but it's in so-so shape. Trying to find one a bit better for my green truck. Can you help?

Maybe

I may have one. Wait until after the holidays and I'll look around.

Exhaust

Not sure you still want it since you are selling your truck, but here are some pics. Just surface rust. I live in the desert.

Of course I'm still interested...

The truck I am selling is not the one I am looking to put this on. Your exhaust looks a little different than the one on my yellow truck, but I think overall it would be great. Afew obvious questions I'd have are do you still have the original exhaust manifold and how much do you want for the exhuast? Just being honest, even though I want it, how much you want and how much shipping will probably be will be the deciding factors.

Thanks a bunch for taking the pictures!

Stock Exhaust

The usual failure point for the stock exhaust is towards the front, where the exhaust pipe is covered by the collector for the air pump air. That portion of the pipe must run much hotter that any other, the rest of it, including the very heavy main muffler is pretty bullet proof except for the thermal reactor cracking on the inside.

I have yet to see...

...one of those stock, original main mufflers that *isn't* wasted/rusted thru in person...

Also, the one I have is more rectangular in cross-section (?)

13Bbro...

How much did you want for that exhaust system? And where exactly are you located (trying to get an idea on cost to ship)?

Do you want...

...the whole exhaust system or just the muffler? I've also got a stock header from a 4 port 13b. Give me your zip and I'll get a shipping quote.

Hmmm....

Let's say the whole system (don't need your header, though), if money necessitates, I'll piecemeal it. My zip is 48838. Thanks for getting a shipping quote. That will help with the decision immensely! BTW- I saw your post on RX7Club.com for your RX-4 Wagon. If I had the money to ship it here, I'd PayPal you the money right now!

Any Word?

...I'm still very much interested. Just waiting on what you want for the exhaust and what you think it will cost to ship.

Thanks,
Neal.

YES!

Micah,

Thanks- I am very interested. To be honest, it will depend on how much you want and then I have to factor in shipping (I'm in Michigan). Please email or call me once you get a chance.
