Need a rear window?
I've got a good one if anyone needs. I'll let it go cheap since shipping might be a bit high, I'll probably have it packed by a UPS store to get a guarantee of sorts.
Throw an offer at my email paynemw@charter.net
Oh, it's out of a '74.

$10 plus shipping? Otherwise I guess I'll trash it, no room in garage and I'm getting piercing looks from 'She Who Must Be Obeyed'.

Solid or slider window?
Regardless, "UPS Stores" I'd never recommend; all shipping 'resellers' charge extra, and UPS has *the worst* history of loss and damage, IMHO.
I'd recommend you pack it yourself: Wrap and seal between two or more layers of cardboard, so that it cannot move from the center of the 'sandwich'; wrap this in bubblewrap, then box in between layers of styofoam 'peanuts', also packed in on all sides. Make sure the peanuts are 'overfilled' and settled by shaking and re-filling, then seal securely. If you can pick it up and shake it severely, and nothing moves inside, you're good.
FedEx Ground offers the most reliable, inexpensive service, to the best of my knowledge... and I regularly ship glass that way every month!
BTW, a flat pane of glass takes up minimal space, if hung on a wall...

Where are you located? Someone who lives nearby may be able/willing to just pick it up and hold it for a rainy day.
Neal.
