Daily Driving REPU wanted!

I have a couple Rx-7s but really want a pickup for work and general driving. I'd rather avoid piston engines and I like older vehicles I can work on, so I'm looking to buy a repu. I'm looking for one I can drive today with a strong engine and preferably rx7 tranny retrofit. I don't mind if I'll have to paint and work on it cosemetically or minor rust. Interested in one located anywhere in the country, though south or northwest would be easiest for me. Have one you wouldn't mind parting with give me a holler!

Ok thanks. I'll keep them in mind. I'll see what else comes up. I'd prefer one in driveable condition but if I have to I think I can find an engine and tranny.

All depends...

...on which one(s), and what all does/does not come with. What I'm not selling is my best of anything... or any running motors, or transmissions. (I haven't collected for this long to let go of that.) That said, I'd rather see another back on the road; if it's gonna be a pile of parts, I'll keep those parts...
(We're talking hundreds, not thousands.)
Unless, of course, someone were to make me an offer too good to refuse...! (In which case we would be talking thousands.)

I would be interested in a straight, minimal rust and complete REPU to build up... what kinda project choices do you have Klaus?

Wouldn't we all...!

Only ones I've seen that meet all those criteria aren't for sale, and have already been built up by their lucky owners...

What I might have available:

1.)--Straightest, most complete original has rusty floor of cab and bed, and features some previous moron's dead pist-on conversion needing pulled and trashed. Otherwise, remarkably straight, likely due to the slower pace of operations due to that swap...

2.)--Less rust, but with some bondo in places (again, previous owner...), not as complete, no engine/trans/etc. ; bash on driver's side rocker panel...

3.)--(Former) daily driver, bashed R fender, cancer started around windshield, various dings/dents/rust spots in usual places... has engine/trans I'm definitely keeping. This one would make a good companion to #2 above, to be re-made into one, plus spare parts...

4.)--Early '74 'spare' bed.

....#'s 1 thru 3 above all white 1974 REPU's; none have intact original valances, though I might have a 'glass Pineapple repro to go with, if the price is right...

I also have quite the parts/ 'core' engine hoard, most of which I'm bent on keeping, 'but'... results matter!

I think I'd be interested in #3, would many if any parts be needed to get the body work done right? Body work is something I'd like to learn anyways. Hows the interior on #3, and I would be interested in the FGlass Valance.... email me a price, keeping In mind its gonna cost a couple hundred in gas to get out yonder.

thx

Sent you an email, Scott ...

...oh yeah, I forgot to mention: I'll include a Pineapple reproduction fiberglass valance for $105.00 additional (my cost, as best I recall...), along with any REPU I sell.

Did you find a driver yet? I will part with mine. I don't seem to want to go work on it. Needs stripped and painted, but runs very good. Minor stuff to make it better.

Curious to see your '75...

...before it's gone. (Hear ya on the getting to work on 'em...!) If wishes were REPU's...

Happy 2006!

I have on that needs some work that would come with a 13b 6port motor for 2k. Will need to be hooked up and all.

I will have a 74 turn key and drive ready for sale soon. She is getting a rebuilt motor now and some small rust repair done. Depending on everything she will be higher in the price range, but will need nothing once done.
