parking brake handle?

I broke my parking brake handle. I have known quite a while that it was only a matter of time with all the cracks on it. Anybody got one? If not I will ne hitting the local yards in the next couple weeks. Has been awhile, need to do that any way.

Parking Brake handle

Tom,

The parking brake handle was available as an assembly and as the rod / lever only. Not for long as the numbers are not even in my 1986 price book and not in the current book either obviously.

I can get you new ones from the Ford or B series but I frankly have no idea if they will work / fit.

Thanks Bruce. I think I will look for a Ford/B-series handle at a local yard and see if it fits. If it fits I may have to see about getting a new one.
thanks

A common problem...

...and perhaps another one that is a good candidate for custom replacement? (Handle, that is... mounted to stock rod...)

Does the handle come off? Mine looks like a dog chewed it up and I was thinking a wooden one would complement the dash nicely...but I don't want to rip and tug at the handle if it is all one piece.

Otherwise, anyone got a source on a new handle?
