I know it's a lot to ask, but I need a paintable one for my restoration. It's frustrating to have a straight, nearly dent-free truck with a battery box lid half gone due to rust.

Are you talking about the swing down cover that mounts on the bed and covers the battery? Mine is not great but it will not be going back on my truck, so if it works out for you you can have it - you pay for the shipping.
