Is this REPU worth 6 grand?

Hi.

I'm from Norway, and we never got the REPU.

I just bought a very rusted B1600 to turn into one(6port engine), but all the rust looks like a hassle. Panels are hard to find, and then this popped up. Is it worth 6 grand you think?

By the time it's in Norway it'll be closer to 10 grand.

PS:If you have a clean REPU in your garage, and would like to sell it, this is the time to "shout" :-)

The car is a 74. Repainted roof only, and new leather interior.

Wow!

That's some extensive pics of a really nice looking '74... (Some of those pics are unviewable... due to their huge size?...)

As to it's 'worth', right off the bat, I'd say it could very well be... but at that price, little things become much more important, at least they would to me...

For starters, I'd want to see the complete view of the truck --all sides, front and rear, etc. -- (likely these were the 'broken' pics?) I'd say that the condition of the metal on the underhood 'shelf' is a good indicator of the original overall shape of the body, rust-wise, prior to work being done. Is it really THAT low-mileage???
I would want to know where the truck spent it's life, who rebuilt that original-appearing engine, (and with what parts, to what level of build), and all the details of the truck's history/repair/restoration).
Though it doesn't appear the motor's been run --judging by the unsullied appearance of the header-- I did notice a few un-plugged breather connections on the carb and air cleaner canister. These 'minor' sorts of things have a potential impact if ignored for a time... (Like the proverbial 'freshly rebuilt street ported motor' in a REPU I once owned...) I'd want to drive it prior to purchase; might be well worth the roundtrip airfare to be certain.
More little details I noticed: Item mounted to top center of cab (?), screw-eye(s) attached to front of bed, dash has been covered (likely cracked underneath), missing winshield washer nozzle (removed for paint work?). Is that the ultra-rare factory under-dash AC unit? Potential downside: If you're tall, forgeddabout knee room!
Not to be too critical, though: From the pics I was able to view, it sure looks pretty! This could be a really nice example, and well worth the asking price... especially considering that one could spend many times that to do the (apparent) work... All depends!
