Check out

...rtrypwr's pics of the tan/burnt orange colored one he's been fixing up on 'my' msn group. It looks like a real nice, clean example... an I believe it's still available.

Otherwise, more rust-free examples are rather few and far between... at least, that are available for sale...

I do have a good project candidate, or three, but there are age-related restoration issues with each... If you're up for a project, and can deal with the rust in the cab and bed floors, i have a really straight original white '74...(that some moron put a piston engine in, that long ago ceased to run.) The rust is not rust-through...

Thanks Klaus.
I am keen to look at the orange one but the pics he sent through were in HTML so I have asked for some more.
I am keen on one that is close to done or very little to do other than body work as Parts here in Aust for them are a no chance so any bits would need to come out from US and the more complete the better.
Pistons swaps where common here in Aust with the rx2/3 models. People used to complain to mazda about the fuel/gas milage and Mazda would do the swap for them.
Fools..
Thanks for the heads up on your White 74..
I'll keep in touch
Dean

Did you go to the msn group?

...you can view his posted pics there... (unless you were needing larger or alternate images)...
Shipping costs must be fairly extreme! Would there be any savings in 'turning around' a container, sending a vehicle each way? I can imagine there would be a (small)collector market here for certain AU/NZ Mazda models...

I have no idea what the US market would be after in the old school car range. are RHD cars usable in the US? or would they be collectors items.
The prices may not be viable.

RHD are collector rarities...

... as far as I know. Unsure of the laws regarding RHD 'driveability' here.
I was thinking that you guys 'down under' got a lot more r-100's, rx-2's, rx-3's, and rx-4's left than we do... I would think that the three's especially would be sought after... but, what do I know?
