I've started putting 74 REPU on ebay, if anyone needs anything specific let me know and if I have a spare I'll put it up for auction.

I'll take the radio bezel and the package shelf....

Do you want me to bid on ebay or cut a deal here? Is the radio bezel damaged or broken in any way?

rotormunky@themonkeyhouse.org

Basically I'm just looking for an easy source for sheetmetal patches that I don't have to spend hours forming for curves.

So in the sense the rougher the better. If no one else could possibly use it anymore that would be best, cause I've passed up like five beds for being in too GOOD a condition, if that even makes any sense:)

I'd rather some guy who needs a bed have it and restore another truck to the road. But if its a total loss I can cannibalise it and patch it into my own bed.

Have you seen the cancer damage on mine? Its manageable, but bad. Lots of cutting and welding.

Parts

Martin, This bed is OK but if your wanting just some sheet metal, I think I have the answer for you. Check out the white one in the gallery that is for sale. It's the one I bought from REPUGURU 2 years ago. That bed is pretty rusty with surface rust. I still have it but not planning on using it. I had thought about making a trailer to pull with my truck out of one of the beds and the yellow one is the best candidate. If you'd like I can email you some pics of the white one now.

Ken, Someone had posted a need for a radio bezel the other day and I had a spare. So I thought I'd throw it up on ebay and see how bad he needed it. If you want it and the shelf make me an offer I can't refuse.

Yea that was rotaryracer....

I thought he was after the dash pad.

If he wants it, he can bid on it as well. I don't really "need" it, as it would be for a truck restore that is after the two I have in work now. But if he doesn't want it, I'll take it. I bid on them, but pocket change could knock me out.

I'll wait a bit to see if he wants to bid on it or maybe someone with a real need will toss good cash for it.

'Need' being a relative term...

Thank you for the kind offer, Ken! I just might have to take you up on it... Perhaps I'd better get ahold of Charles about that, the choke cable, and whatever else he might have coming up... :)

Sorry to get off topic....

Martin,

Saw the pics of your truck on your website for the first time, and was wondering if you still had the in-cab A/C setup and would be willing to part with it?

Thanks,
Neal.

Hey Neal,

I don't see myself parting with the AC, sorry. There's a SLIGHT possibility that I'll replace it with another AC system, but that won't happen for a while. Bodywork and paint, glass, engine, etc.

I don't think it'll help you very much, but if you want I can contact you first if I do decide to part with it, as long as you realise that might be a year or more from now.

Sound ok?

Thanks Dave,.....

I'll take it if it is convienient, since you offered and are (At least now) close.

If Klaus is going to get other stuff, he might as well have the shelf shipped up with it. As I said, I can wait.

I used an earlier shelf with the steel frame on my 77 cause for some reason, Mazda got cheap and took away the frame on the 77's and it sucked. So I retro-fitted a 74 in my 77 and it works great.

One of my current 75 projects has air and I don't get a parcel shelf with it and I kind of like them. The next 74 and 75 need shelves, so that is why I am in the market...
