battery box

In a earlier post I asked if anyone was interested in new battery boxes and only got 1 reply. So how about parts of a box? I am cutting out doors (the box door, NOT the body door) from 14 gauge BRIGHT diamond plate. Just add hinges and a latch. $20 each + shipping. Please respond off-line. I will post a pic next week in my "New Life" picture folder.

prototype

The prototype box is nearly finished. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Anyone interested? $140 + shipping, as shown. No rubber, and I have not been able to find a stainless latch, so you are on your own there. I can sell them flat (no bending or welding done, no hinges or latch) for $75.

box prices, bumper for sale, tranny mount adapter

I have to apologize to all of you that have been so patiently waiting for me to finish the battery boxes. I have another project that has been consuming ALL of my spare time. I was going to weld the hinges on yesterday and found that I now have an issue with my welder, and because I fear the cost of these boxes is getting too high, I hesitate to take them back to the fab shop for welding. Anyway, The steel boxes are $95, the stainless boxes, $175. The only difference is the cost of materials. I tried to make them as copy exact as possible, but the latch is nowhere close, hinge is similar. Again, there is NO RUBBER, nor is there a sliding tray, but I am working on that....the shipping is also additional. The prototype went to Texas (from Washington) for $15. I plan on attending the get together at the Apple Blossom festival in Wenatchee and will have at least 1 extra with me. I am open to partial trades, e-mail me with your proposal.
I also have a front bumper for sale. I took it to a bumper shop and had a couple of dents beat out. Not "perfect", but if it was it would stand out! $90/BO + shipping? I found a "nearly perfect" Courier bumper that I will sell for $185, including the lamps and lenses. I will put a pic in my folder.
I cut some transmission mount adapters using the dimensions found in Cappella's folder. $9+ shipping. See the pic in my folder also.

SALE!

I have 4 boxes left. I sold my truck and recently moved and decided it is time to cut my losses. I honestly have nearly $100 wrapped up is EACH box, but decided it is time ....... make me an offer on ALL 4 and they are yours. They still need the hinges and latch welded on, but that is the way they are. Cash, check, PayPal, no C.O.D. I am sure anyone that has dealt with me will offer a reference.

The boxes are still available as previously posted. Click that little mail icon at the lower left of this box to contact me via email! I rarely visit this site anymore.
