Where...

...are you located, Mark?

Should you change your mind and decide you might be interested, I have an early '74 that was converted to Buick V-6 as well (by a P.O.)... I'd be happy to part with that engine/transmission, perhaps in trade for REPU parts...

By headlight 'rings', are you referring to the metal mounting rings... or the 'chrome' plastic trim/surrounds?

How much for the 'splitter' that goes behind the valance?

Thanks!

I appreciate your response...

...but, I'm afraid I cannot download your large files off the server. Matter of fact, big stuff like that basically disables my Inbox, since I'm on dial-up... so I have to simply delete it out of webmail. So please, NO emails/attachments of large size! May I suggest/offer that you create an album/post/host your pic's on 'my' little MSN-Group, MazdaRotaryEnginePickup... or, perhaps here...?

Thanks! --K.

The other part of the 'deal':

Like I stated in my previous post -- I appreciated your response, but was *unable* to view/do a darn thing with your supersized emails/attachments, except delete them from my webmail, unviewed. For this I am truly sorry.

I would respond further, but am still waiting to be able to view your pic's -- perhaps posted/hosted online, either here, or over at 'my' little MSN Group... or elsewhere.

(Stating an asking price outright would also likely help get a response.)

If you want a bed to make a trailer out of, I have one for sale or trade -- no need to cut up your truck.

(If anyone wants a REPU minus drivetrain, I have a couple of those as well... but mine come with steering columns.) ;)

I can accept...

...emails with or without attachments... just not too many Megabytes' worth at a time! If you can keep it under 1 Meg per email --or, preferably, half that-- no problemo. 6 or 7 Meg emails/attachments, on the other hand... *crash* goes the Inbox. Of course, had you given me any warning, or asked prior to sending, I could have told you...

I would never ask anyone to post their pic's "all over the internet" 'just for me' -- please forgive my suggesting something that I thought might prove beneficial to your connecting with your desired customer(s). Hey, if you don't want to do it for you... don't do it! No apology needed. Pictures do tend to be worth 1000 words, though, when it comes to marketing...

Hey Dan!

How's about deleting this thread before I type what I'm thinking...? Please? Thanks!

Hey wait a minute! It always takes 5 times as much time to sell stuff as it takes to get it. So don't give up selling your needed parts just because they didn't sell right off the bat. I've seen requests for all your parts over time and there will be more to come.

This thread has gotten out of hand, so go ahead and delete it then forget about it and stay with the forum. Nobody cares about what happened yesterday.

'No attitude'???

For the record:

1.) The entirety of my attempts at communication are contained within this thread. Judge for yourself.

2.) It'll be a cold day in the desert when I let *anyone* dictate what I should pay for for an ISP, etc., and when -- just so someone I've not gotten to know *at all* can email *LARGE* files to me with impunity, and without prior warning. WTF?

3.) Threats? Look no further than your own trollishness, and don't make me laugh! It's sad fact that the rotary world has more than it's fair share of BS artists; up to you to convince your customer otherwise. Buyer beware!

4.) IMO, no one in their right mind will ever buy much of anything without pictures, unless it's in person. I sure wouldn't trust you from the way you've come across here. Don't want to host your pictures *anywhere* on-line, so you can make it simple for any potential customer to view? Not my problem! Learn to ask, instead of assuming, before sending attachments to someone, or at least *listen up* when the surprised recipient (me) gets back to you with a polite request that you down-size your attachments. (Duh!)

5.) Its been my experience that folks also don't tend to fork over to get large body panels (such as fenders, hoods, etc.) shipped to them --even assuming they survived the "4x4 experience" in fine shape--due to the extreme cost of freight, these days. Would that it were otherwise...: If my wishes amounted to a damn, nothing would've gotten tossed, crushed, wasted, etc. Unfortunately, this is the 'real' world, and shit happens.

6.) I'm all for saving usable parts. I wouldn't discourage anyone from making their parts available. I appreciated your enthusiastic response, as per my previous post... but, I refrained from comment regarding your asking price on the 'splitter', as I was awaiting a viewable picture, (like I posted)... which you chose to ignore.
Excuse me, but I thought I was being helpful by offering/suggesting that you post/host your pictures either *here*, or on the MSN-Group.
If you wanted me to be of assistance in some other fashion, all you had to do was A.) Read my posts here responding to you, and, B.) Drop the attitude and assumptions, and *communicate* like a human being.

Happy Holidays!
