That is definatly the truck that is featured in the article I have. But I think the magazine is different. I have seen more than one article from that era with those pictures of that truck. I think they were just inventory photos for different mags owned by the same publishing company.
I have wondered what ever happend to that truck?

I know what happened to one of the trucks
For some of the tests that were done with the 1977 model truck, such as the trailering test in a trailering magazine, the truck used was the truck I own. I know this because at the time, my dad worked for Mazda, and was able to buy the truck just before he quit. So, any 1977 tests were with my truck.

ZeBug, Do you have the 77 flyer or any 77 Mazda pics of that truck? I have the flyer with the 74 towing the glider

I sure would like to get a copy of the "Trailering magazine" that had that feature as I now own the REPU Zebug talks about....
