checking out a parts truck at a pull and save
Hello everyone,
One of my co-workers spotted a REPU in a CA pull and save and the truck is mostly complete. I am going to see if I can purchase the whole thing and then part out everything that is good. My turbo REPU is going to finally get a new paint job after seven stock this year and I need only a couple of parts but I would hate to see anything go to the crusher. I should have an idea of what is good in the next day or so.

If she's got it and it would be for sale, I am interested in the ever-elusive dealer-accessory console, wheel trim rings and A/C system or parts of one.
Thanks,
Neal.

Hello everyone,
I have checked out the truck. You cannot get it whole. It is a 1975 (8/74) production vehicle. Frame is perfect. Doors are rust free and removed waiting for someone. Has some sheetmetal removed for door speakers. Tailgate is rustfree. Has some minor dings from objects hitting them. Has the combo switch, and steering column(bushing is worn). It is removed and right by the truck. It has a 79-80 RX7 5 speed trans. Bed is definately very usuable with some minor rust on the driver's side seam of the bed floor in front of the flare. It has been unbolted. All running gear is present. Has some sort of 4lug front brake conversion. I scored a complete rust free cab, rf fender and an oil cooler. Also the front grill and side pieces are there, and in good shape as well as the headlight buckets. The truck is located at the ONTARIO CA PICK A PART. ONE EXIT WEST OF I-15N ON 60W. HEAD NORTH ABOUT 1 MILE. It should be there at least another two weeks. Strip this thing because it is too good to crush.

You should make certain...
...to pick her clean of whatever remains, prior to the dreaded deadline... you could always ebay the parts you didn't need, if no one else here needs 'em first!
How many of us in the Ontario vicinity?

I am sorry but the LF fender was junk and I took the entire cab which included the rocker panels. The only bit of rust on my truck is the inner rockers and the forward cab floor. I am not sure if the vehicle is there now or not. I may try and walk through the yard this weekend for my 240-z project and will see if the truck is still there.
