Is Oregon...

...in the California 'area' ?

Take a look...

...at 'my' msn-group. I've got more (REPU's) than are pictured there in my pic folder. Any that I would part with would be engine and transmission-less projects, though... I also have a friend here in the area that has what is perhaps the best '73 rx-3 ('74 motor) partially-disassembled project around. Much work has been put in; relatively easy assembly/completion required. ALL parts are there. If you're serious, perhaps I can hook you up... (It would take about $2500.00). :)

also located in Oregon is a need to finish project RX3. Straight body, newer paint, all part needed to finish, I am talking about some cherry parts. some of which would be a GRADE AAA dash, new set of shocks, and many many other parts. let me know if you interested. BUT let me know asap cause this car wont be around forever. Matt22

Matt, you really should read...

...my previous post again. I believe we're talking about the same pal's project car...

I'm calling 'dibs'! :b

Ah yes...

...(and those shocks are Koni's)... Yep, that's Mike's rx-3. A really sweet project! Had I the garage and the funds, it would already be mine...
Seriously, this has gotta be the biggest bang-for-buck, best, most complete rx-3 project out there!

I should know: I helped Mike score the rusty one that donated everything but the body.

It's almost tempting to try to sell off all the REPU's to try to fund a garage and this rx-3...

not so sure I am ready to branch out, but.......

what is he asking for the RX-3 project, and does anybody have any pics? I have the space, and I want my next project after my trucks is to be a 3.

Sure would love to see it at least.

Check my previous posts...

...(about three posts ago I mentioned an approximate dollar amount)...
That said, it's really a question of just how much of his parts hoard would be included, that would determine the final price, I'd wager...
Yes, there are pics--just that I don't know if we have any, yet, that depict it free of boxes of parts on, in, and around... not to mention minus a bit of dust!

I'll be in touch, Ken, and see if I can connect the two of you about this. :)

No entire extra nose cone...

...but, I'll see what I can do to connect you with Mike as well. (Though Ken might have dibs by now...) :)

Just a thought: You could go to www.thesurfonics.com ; Mike's probably got a contact email there at his band's site...

Tell him I sent ya, and from here!

P.S.-- I DO still have a few rx-3 bits stashed from the very same donor car... like a rear patch-panel cut... (what surrounds the taillights)... Then there's the extra engine crossmember that 'could' have gone with Matt's 808...

Go back to his site...

...look for the word 'Contact' on a surfboard-type image, and click on it. You should be able to send him an email, even if it doesn't tell you the email... (You might have to click on yet another 'surfboard' button...)

Matt might know someone in AU who knows about rx-3 nosecones.

You really might want to email Mike about precisely what parts for your nose you do absolutely need... you never know, he might have 'em...

...and, I suppose I, too, would consider trading up to 'a couple'a trucks' for an rx-3 wagon, as well... :)
